First Anniversary Cookout for South Atlantic Bank A Success
 
Myrtle Beach, SC (December 2008) – South Atlantic Bank’s cookout celebration to commemorate their
first anniversary was a huge success.
 
Held on November 21, 2008 from 11:00am to 2:00pm, the event was well received by community
members and friends. The cookout brought a variety of customers, board members and media out to
participate in the festivities.  
 
Along with food prepared by employees and friends of the bank, a drawing was held to give away a patio
heater, completely assembled. The winner of the patio heater was Bobby Anderson of Magnolia’s
Restaurant.
 
“We’ve had a great first year and we couldn’t have done it without such a great board, shareholders and
employees, because they truly make the difference” states Scott Plyler, President. “South Atlantic Bank has
a great group of people involved as well as customers who know and trust us. We look forward to many
more years in community banking along the Grand Strand.”
