Preparations Begin for South Atlantic Bank’s 29th Avenue North Location in Myrtle Beach
 
Myrtle Beach, SC (December 30, 2008) – Preparations began today for South Atlantic Bank's new main
office, which will be located in the heart of Myrtle Beach on the corner of 29th Avenue North and Robert
M. Grissom Parkway.   
 
Planned as a 16,000 square foot, two-story facility, the bank plans to relocate from their existing location at
2050 Corporate Centre Drive, Suite 140 into this building upon completion in late 2009.
 
"We are very pleased about the future plans for our new main office in Myrtle Beach and feel this location
has excellent potential. Overall, our bank is well capitalized and positioned for growth with our primary
focus being the Grand Strand area.  This facility is an example of our commitment to the area and will
allow us to expand our customer base by providing full service banking in a convenient location."
 
South Atlantic Bank has worked diligently with the Horry County School Board, City of Myrtle Beach and
the Myrtle Beach Primary School PTA to design a building and site plan that will accommodate and
support the future growth for this intersection.   
 
In addition, focus has been placed on the preservation of the three-acre's natural trees and atmosphere.
