Myrtle Beach, SC (May 26, 2009) – Volunteers representing St. James schools, with the help of South Atlantic Bank, took advantage of the 2009 bike rally to raise money for the St. James Shark Club.  
 
The bank’s newest location in Murrells Inlet is positioned across the street from one of the most popular rally locations along the Grand Strand. South Atlantic Bank provided their parking lot as an avenue for volunteers to raise funds for the schools. A fee per vehicle was charged and $3,000 was raised.  
 
South Atlantic Bank representatives will present a check to the St. James Shark Club on Wednesday, May 27, 2009 at 10:00am in the high school’s media center. School principal Joe Dowling, coaches, athletes and St. James Shark Club members will be in attendance. Eleven senior athletes from St. James High School will sign scholarships prior to the check presentation.
