South Atlantic Bank Holds Official Ribbon Cutting and Celebration for New Murrells Inlet Office
Murrells Inlet, SC (October 22, 2009) – On Wednesday, October 21, 2009 South Atlantic Bank held an official ribbon cutting ceremony and after-hours event in celebration of its newest office opening in Murrells Inlet.
Having held the ribbon cutting at 2:00pm and a celebration at 5:30pm, South Atlantic Bank experienced a successful beginning in their newest building located on the corner of Tournament Boulevard and Highway 17 bypass. With approximately 25 people in attendance at the ribbon cutting and an estimated 230 at that evening’s event, the bank surely experienced a successful kick-off.
South Atlantic Bank opened a temporary office at this location on December 15, 2008 and used the facility while completing construction on their permanent office.
“We were very excited to open our newest location to the public in the Murrells Inlet area and pleased that our growth has significantly exceeded our initial expectations for this area,” states President, Scott Plyler. “It was a truly wonderful experience to share in our success with local community leaders and friends.”
The new building is a 10,000 square foot, two-story facility with the bank occupying the first floor and leasing space to a tenant on the second floor.
ESD Architecture and Design of Charlotte, NC was the architect and interior designer for the bank.
The Murrells Inlet office offers full-service banking including retail, commercial and mortgage lending; merchant card services, night depository, no 2:00pm cut-off and no-fee ATM’s anywhere for South Atlantic Bank customers.
