(Murrells Inlet, SC) South Atlantic Bank will hold a ribbon cutting ceremony with the Myrtle Beach Area
Chamber of Commerce on Friday, January 9, 2009 at 9:00am. The ceremony will celebrate the opening of
the bank’s Murrells Inlet location.
 
Also planned in conjunction with the ribbon cutting is a question and answer session with bank officials for
local media. Media are invited to obtain information about South Atlantic Bank’s two newest locations in
Murrells Inlet and at 29th Avenue North and Robert M. Grissom Parkway in Myrtle Beach.
 
While the new Murrells Inlet office is under construction, a full-service modular is open for business. The
new building is planned to be a 10,000 square foot, two-story facility with the bank occupying the first floor
and leasing space for a tenant on the second floor
 
Dargan Construction Company of Myrtle Beach has been selected as the general contractor for the Murrells
Inlet branch location. Expected completion of the building is set for September 2009.
 
The Murrells Inlet branch will offer full banking services including retail, commercial and mortgage lending,
night depository services, and ATM.
 
Bank officials, shareholders and board members are invited to attend the ribbon cutting and Q&A session. It
is not open to the general public. Refreshments will be available to those in attendance.
